Cosy, kitsch and rumoured to be haunted, Prompt Corner offers top food – the fish is great – and plenty of character. The walls are crammed with movie memorabilia from the golden age of Hollywood and you'll recognize plenty of regulars if you make this your local. Our only complaint is that it is a tad on the pricey side but with the comedy potential of scaring any small children present with a bit of intermittent ghostly creaking we hardly even noticed.
