Another upmarket student pub aimed squarely at the more sophisticated trainee alcoholic. It works at being everything to all people with regular local DJs and fiendish quiz nights and doesn't it do well, siphoning much business away from the generally rubbish bars on the university campuses. The dimmed lights and candles in the evening help to make everyone look a little bit more glamorous which is great news if you feel the need for romance or you've simply realised that your chosen drinking partner is a bit of a minger.
