This place proudly clings on to its epic old–skool proportions. The crowd themselves look equally as dated, and with more cod pieces than trouts, it's not really a pub for the girls. They recently pulled out all the seating in an attempt to make it cruisier, but it all seems slightly fishy to me. Test the water before throwing yourself headlong into the fray – if you're a younger specimen, the older gentlemen are likely to have you for breakfast, and swallow you whole.
