Honeyclub, Brighton

Sweet by name and sweet by nature, head down here for some serious clubbing. Some of the biggest names in clubland appear in this two–roomed club, and they guarantee that the main dancefloor area becomes a heap of hyped–up dancers, whereas the crew in the back room can be spotted with a Mr Freeze in one hand, drink in the other and swaying to the sounds of funky house and garage. The chillout room upstairs has chesterfields to seat your flagging bodies, your very own private bar and a people–watching balcony. Oh, and the cash point downstairs –just be careful, OK?

User Reviews for Honeyclub

Hmmm... while yes, they do have big names here and yes, it is very popular, its only popular with people who have no taste. No self-respecting Brightonian clubber would be seen dead in the place. Gurning pill-heads, lagered-up Ben Sherman boys fresh from ten pints in the sun and super peroxide blondes with day-glo tans... avoid.

To summarise......what a load of sh*t!! We were offered 4 free V.I.P tickets and were promised a free bottle of champagne because of the bouncers' w*nker attitude last time we went... the bottle was hardly enough to fill 2 glasses let alone 4! And the V.I.P room was hardly that, it was filled with people who looked like they belonged in prison, either that or in a brothel! They take your handbag on arrival and give you a little pouch to put your stuff in, which kept ripping, and once your inside the main club things don't get better, the music is crap, the place is too packed. If you want a good night in Brighton, go to Creation, HoneyClub is a waste of money and time, and is the biggest heap of sh*t I have ever come across!
