The Tunnel
When Itchy was young, the Tunnel was THE place to go (if you looked old enough) for decent dance music in Glasgow. It's still going strong, 100 years later, even with masses of competition from new venues popping up everywhere. Dance, r'n'b, house and some commercial stuff seem to attract a crowd who are more interested in dancing like demons than picking each other up. Refreshing. So don't let their clubnight names (like 'Sweatbox Fridays' and 'Kinky Pinkys') put you off from giving this place a go.
