Revolver Bar

Great name, great bar. Glasgow's gay scene can sometimes be as exciting as watching lawn bowling (even without the macabre anticipation of one of the decrepit players keeling over of old age on the green) but this place more than makes up for it. The décor doesn't scream at you when you walk in, the staff are friendly and everyone just gets on with doing their own thing. There's a jukebox and a pool table and generally this place just knocks the socks off of most of the other venues in this town, gay and straight alike. And the name is so cool.
