Willow tearooms
Designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1904, Willow tearooms has retained all of its charm, including Mackintosh's trademark angular, high back chairs. Trying to manoeuvre them brought make memories of wrestling deck chairs on Blackpool promenade, but despite that you'll be treated to a nostalgic trip back to the days when tea was sipped with a protruding pinkie and everyone left their front door open.
