Liquid Lounge, The

Opened in December 2002, The Liquid Lounge plays host to wicked weeknd music orientated nights, fancying itself as a bit of a bar/club at the weeknds. With musical styles ranging from house, funk, soul, hip hop, jazz, dub and reggae to name but a few, there's something here for everyone, and you get bet your best dollar there'll be a wide range of people in here to rub shoulders with from students to the more discerning of punters. The venue caters for a diverse clientele ranging from students, young professionals and local businessmen/women. Open as a bar during the week and doubling up as a bar & club at weekends, The Liquid Lounge is a welcome addition to the Glasgow bar scene. Every weekend the venue plays host to a number of different club nights, each of which offer a diverse alternative to most other mainstream clubs. With musical styles ranging from house, funk, soul, hip hop, jazz, dub and reggae to name but a few, there's something here for everyone. The bar operates daily happy hours between 5pm & 8pm, 7 days a week with live Jazz during happy hour on Fridays. Plans are also in the pipeline to showcase live acoustic sessions on Wednesday evenings.
