The Scotia
Apparently the 'Big Yin' – a.k.a Billy Connolly – started here back in his days as a Humble Bum, so you could assume there's a bit of a folky feel to the place. It's a genuinely friendly place to go for a drink, the type of place where everyone just chats to everyone and full of old Glasgow character –you may even bump into Mr Connolly, as apparently he still drinks here. Established in 1792, in many ways you could say it's all a bit too quaint, from pictures of "dear old glesga toon" to snaps of old musicians.
