Y Mochyn Du
'Rydym yn caru y dafarn yma', or 'we love this pub'. A fine bilingual pub, from the menus, bar staff and notices. Named The Black Pig, after a west Welsh folk song, it has all the features you'd hope for, a conservatory and beer garden; and is set in an old hunting lodge. It is a rugby watching pub, but with its sponsorship of choirs and football teams the mix of people works pretty harmoniously. This is the world as it should be. Itchy guarantees you'll hear the Welsh language spoken here
