The Cat and Wheel

This friendly pub neighbours the architectural masterpiece of Cheltenham Road's The Arches. It's a two-bar joint – one with a mildly formal feel and the other a bit more traditional (TVs, juke boxes, pool tables). Don't be put off by the rather grimy appearance of it – this one has a hatful of local charm and a merry feel. It's got a nifty little garden/cobbled bit too, which is a surprisingly brilliant place to be when the footie is on. Oh, and let's not forget they serve the cheapest and best Moscow Mole (drink, not animal – and it's not a typo on 'mule' before you go and ask) about.
