The Old Duke
There are plenty of live music venues in Bristol, but not many are as classy as the Old Duke, which has rightfully earned itself the enviable prefix of 'The Famous'. 'Which Duke?', you might ask. Itchy can't answer you but we like to think of him as a cross between John Wayne and The Grand Old Duke. It's not huge, but bands take to the stage every night of the week playing a mixture of blues, rock 'n' roll, and, above all, jazz. It also serves a wide enough selection of drinks for you to find new and interesting ways of getting yourself well and truly smashed night after night. Splendid.
