Tantric Jazz Café Bar

With its saucy name and moody candlelight, Tantric Jazz manages to be both cosy and cool – like a penguin wearing a hoodie (only without the associated air of vague avian menace). Live music every night makes it a welcome change from the claustrophobic meat-market atmosphere of most city centre clubs. The food takes the form of international tapas and the staff keep things cooking late into the night, so you can pop in for some nocturnal falafel with a side order of guitar and harmonica. Turns out that Tantra's not just for Sting and Trudie Styler. Thank God.
