Urban Outfitters

It's been twelve months since Borders packed up its books and said goodbye to Churchill Square leaving the prime position at the main entrance of the shopping centre empty. After a lengthy renovation its rounded glass front has been given a final buff and it reopens its doors as the city's first Urban Outfitters. Urban Outfitters clothing is best described as 'new vintage' – chunky knits, retro t-shits, denim, costume jewellery and granny chic. So in a city like Brighton with its fantastic range of second hand and charity shops those looking for truly original style and cheaper prices may stick to rummaging for gems elsewhere. But if you want to shop in one very trendy space, where everything is shiny, new and irresistibly displayed this definitely the place. From the cool staff to the Fixie Bikes all serenaded by grimy electro beats, Urban Outfitters has all the components for today's scene kid.
