An unpretentious trad pub where you can sit with friends on Sunday afternoons like they do in TV ads for broadsheet newspapers. It attracts a wide cross section of the Brighton community getting a mix from suits to studes and locals through the doors. Big screen sports also get the punters rolling in as does the pool table, top–notch local DJs and the Thai food. I'm a particular fan of the pub quizzes – you may've seen me being hugely competitive in the corner – and the two piece band which gets everyone's toes tapping. It's the kind of proper pub that gets friendlier and friendlier the more you go to the point that they'll even let you have your party there. Destined to be your new favourite local.
