Bizarrely, they closed for a refurb and then opened up looking more or less exactly the same. Still, it didn't need much shaking up –they still serve an impressive - and improved - array of cocktails and tasty food. Expect paintings on the walls, table service and the odd live music band from time-to-time, meaning that the place attracts a pretty civilised following. Certainly not one for a booze-fuelled piss-up, but excellent for spending some quality time with your mates –that is assuming they haven't just shut up shop again for a spring- clean.
