Bali Brasserie
Yeah, nice. Because I've always wanted a restaurant squeezed into the ground floor of a block of flats, splashed with pink and gilt everywhere. Close your eyes, and you might have a decent meal, but you're better off remembering there's a whole other world out there.

18 Apr 2009Ok, briefly; food - good. Service - really good. Décor - half 70's style cocktail bar complete with bad entertainment and resident drunk, half outdated restaurant with weird antler style serviettes from glasses. Obligatory service charge -on enquiry the 2 Malaysian and 1 indonesian chef and the waiters don't receive a penny. Polite enquiry if you can pay some or all of the service charge to the staff - encountered rudeness, aggressiveness and a very bad experience uncovering the true culture of this strange place. Hopefully the talented staff get deserved jobs where their bosses respect them. Minus 3,000,563 out of ten for the aggressive management.
