Ashoka Tandoori

We used to rave about this place, well, as much as it is possible to rave about an Indian restaurant full of students on the piss but you get where we're coming from... it seems since our last visit things have gone rather downhill. Or maybe we should never have turned up sober. Whichever, the food isn't the worst we've tasted just a touch on the lukewarm side and distinctly below par. The group of eight chanting boys on some hockey initiation night didn't exactly add to the ambience either. And the service... don't ask. We recommend injecting vodka directly into your ankles before entering.
