The wide central staircase sends a hum from the deli–bar floating upstairs, providing a lively backdrop for more intimate dining in the stylish first floor restaurant. Once comfortably seated, you'll find yourself tucking into <b>Pintxos</b> –rich, flavoursome Catalan–style tapas –which are best shared with someone else and washed down with buckets of wine. The menu invites you to experiment and will leave you properly stuffed, but you won't mind, because it's not often that a restaurant in Brighton pays this amount of attention to your tastebuds. The killer touch, though, has to be classic cocktails they mix up here; the only weakness – or perhaps the biggest strength – is that they'll only let you drink them if you're staying to eat.
