One of Brighton's largest bars, this place is airy to the point of being uncomfortable. Somehow, you always feel like you're on display here, and when you climb the ominously steep staircase in the centre of the bar to the toilets, it feels like everyone's timing you, and will burst out in applause when you return. Minimalist, with pastels and silver fittings, this is a bar popular with the working media–types, but recommended only for the self–assured.
