Island Bar

This rock 'n' roll cocktail bar is a little gem of a place – cool without trying too hard, always hosting gigs and playing the right blend of music. Staffed by alarmingly cock-sure staff who do all that fannying about, throwing and spinning bottles to make a cocktail – fun to watch, but seriously, we've been here 10 minutes now. Not a great place to take a date, the music volume makes conversation a bit difficult – highlighting those embarrassed silences whilst, ensuring that any chat you do have becomes spittle in each others ears.
