Mix Brasserie

A few minutes walk from the Central Library you'll find Summer Row, a cluster of establishments for your dining, dancing and drinking needs. The Mix Brasserie takes care of the eating part, offering two courses of posh nosh for a rather reasonable £14.95. It's the kind of place where people tend to dress to impress (i.e. leave the hoodie and baseball cap at home with your ASBO), but it's sure as hell a refreshing alternative to the spew-spattered pavements of Broad Street. Which, in this city, makes it more welcome than British troops 'liberating' Kabul.
