Presumably due to it being namechecked in so many Michael Jackson songs, Selly Oak's thousands of students love this cheap curry house and its bring-your-own-booze policy. Lucky that, as it'd probably take half an hour to get served a round of drinks anyway. The booths are pretty cramped and the tables are so tiny you're forced to eat off your lap like you're having a TV dinner. Chamon's owners have paid attention to detail, just the wrong ones - for example, look up and you'll see a ceiling covered with twinkly fairy lights. Lovely.
