Rajdoot Restaurant
Picture the scene. It's July. You're in the Costa del Sol. It's 90 degrees in the shade. You know what you want, don't you? That's right. Curry. Yes this where it all began for the Rajdoot chain that has spread as far Fuengirola – I kid you not –. This traditional yet stylish tandoori specialising restaurant has been open for over thirty years, and picked up more than a handful of awards over the years, including regular recognition from Igon Ronay. Another restaurant that's a bit pricier than your average balti house, but I think most people these days are starting to accept that there's so much more to Indian cooking than a chicken tikka after a night in the pub.
