Internet Exchange The

Situated by the top of the escalator that leads down to New Street Station, this place offers welcome escape from the hellhole down below when the inevitable call comes that "unfortunately the 14.55 to Coventry has been delayed". It's probably the least private internet café in Brum — situated bang in the middle of The Pallasades shopping centre — so no looking at porn here I'm afraid. Membership is £2 and non–members are charged an astronomical £8.50/hour, so basically you have to join up to make it remotely economical.
