So you've experienced all the excesses that Sheffield has to offer? But if you're spending nearly every Sunday pretending to be a rare species of bed monster, you're missing a trick. Just a short bus ride away is a wealth of nature, greenery and scenery (1,438 sq km of it to be exact). The hills are alive with the sound of walking, cycling, caving, climbing, windsurfing, canoeing and horse riding to name but a few. There are also cafés, pubs and more quaint shops than you can shake a stick at (and sticks are aplenty in this neck of the woods). Pack your picnic cloth, a few mates and relieve the pain of a hangover in the fresh air.
