Winter Gardens

Award-winning plant project that the tourist brochures always boast about. An impressively-sized greenhouse that basically provides a dry alternative to the peace gardens on a rainy day. Situated next to the millennium galleries and described as a 'haven' from the hustle and bustle of city life, the gardens and gallery provide a tranquil little place to take visiting relatives and pretend that you are all grown-up and cultured. It's all very nice, but you can never quite escape the feeling that it's quite pointless, if pleasant. But then what more can you expect from a garden?
