An attractive, olde-worlde kind of place that looks like it belongs in the Lake District. A front room kind of pub with dim lighting and loud music. Attracts many students, ex-students, failures, drop-outs, wanky young professionals and the like. Another 'we have the best juke box in the country' pub, where it's probably safer to stick to the quiz machine than risk angering the This Life wannabe who's put on the entire Oasis back catalogue. It's strictly over 18s only, so you're not going to get arrested for murdering that little kid who keeps running around your table and spilling your pint.
