What can we say? In last year's revamp, it went from garish camp plush velvet and leopard skin to garish cerise and crushed velvet. Take your sunglasses and remember to leave them on as you step in from the canal. The service, however, struggles to match the vibrancy of the colour scheme; particularly in summer, make sure you order three rounds simultaneously when you're at the bar. Believe us, lukewarm flat beer's better than no beer on a warm day. And anyway, you don't want to risk losing your seat outdoors or you'll miss Nottingham's finest treating the canal like Bondi Beach.
