Previously called Via Fossa, this used to be one of the more classy options by the canal, but it seems to have gone rather downhill of late. The bar staff are either half asleep or just don't give a monkey's; service is slow and tables stickier than flypaper. The food portions are on the small side too - order a hot dog for a laugh at the comedy cocktail sausage you'll receive. Via's not bad for outdoor drinking in the warmer months, but with loads of other bars to choose from round this area, they'd better be careful they don't lose their punters altogether.
