Itchy has a few theories regarding why this bar is so named. The most obvious is that the owner may be German: pictures of people in lederhosen abound, alongside those of various grilled gristle-socks in all their pork-touting braised bratwursty glory. Alternatively, it could be a far more Freudian 'members' club, as supported by the abundance of 'wood' in the décor. Either way, when the varied menu is so tasty, there are seats shaped like frankfurters, and you get to pee into tin buckets in the guys' loos, do you really think we care? Not a sausage.
