Still the scruffiest of Nottingham's shopping family, with a bobbled damp-smelling jumper, lipstick on its teeth and bad roots, despite supposed plans for a refurb. All the city's tat stores are here, so head down for the office Secret Santa or to guffaw at the dodgy English on Pound Shop packaging. TK Maxx redeems things slightly while still keeping that bargain basement theme running, and beneath it all is the 'City of Caves' cavern tour - with 'one billion years of (utterly crap) gifts', of course.
