"Woah! Woah! Woooaaah! What are you doing? This is supposed to be a cool bar. You can't put that there. Its a...pool table. You'll be encouraging people to have fun next". This sets the tone for a relaxed vibe that attracts a crowd of varying ages who are here for the authentic cuisine as the R'n'B soundtracked bar surfing. As one of the few independents within the Cornerhouse complex Bha Ji has a touch more individuality than most and thankfully walking in here doesnt induce that sense of deja vu all too familiar to city centre drinking. The bar itself is long and large – so no argy bha ji – and the main dining area is to the rear, away from the liveliest part of the bar so you can soak up the atmosphere without being overwhelmed by it.
