Bar Humbug (now a pole dancing club, needs new review)

It could be a case of 'what no carpet?' should the usual Market Square crowd wander in here by mistake, although that's unlikely as the understated entrance has none of the chrome, mirrors or neon lighting so attractive to muscle–bound meatheads and fake–tan tarts. Remarkably for such a central location Bar Humbug manages a courtyard for summer drinking so you can easily forget where you are for an hour or two. the bar interior is bright and colourful enough to cheer up the most miserly soul and even the most Scrooge–like amongst you can't knock the value of the food or the happy hour drinks.
