Athenaeum

Apparently Athenaeum was a popular drinking hole for yuppies back in the 80s and they probably paid more for their drinks then. Nowadays it is quite possibly one of the cheapest pubs in the city centre with special offers a plenty on both week nights and at the weekend. The bar is especially good when the second room is open as it's really comfy. Athenaeum is the place to go for a couple of quiet ones and a game of pool before heading elsewhere.
