Let's be honest. If you're willing to dress to a specific dress code, wait on a ridiculous red carpet, then again for the lift to come and go and come and go; only to wait another quarter of an hour – to get a substandard cocktail served by a surly waitress (while hailing 'yah darhling' across a high-rise room); you deserve everything you get in life. And by 'everything', we don't mean millions in the bank and a plastic partner to parade. Oh no. As for the marvellous view... why don't they offer a daytime cafe service? When it isn't dark and full of idiots.
