The Metropolitan

Sigh... The Met can be a frustrating experience. Great location, great building, super wine list, large, rural-feeling terrace out the back which is splendid on a summer evening. Sadly though, much of its clientele is of the poser persuasion. That is those playing at business with huge expense accounts, or those playing at society (loudly) with huge wads of daddy's money. Probably as a result, the legions of staff are a bit huffy. You'd think they'd at least get the sign corrected – unless it's actually called 'The Metropolitain'.
