Manchester Aquatics Centre

Those with a passion for inhaling chlorine will love the Aquatics Centre. A mammoth swimming pool, this venue regularly holds water-related sporting activities like swimming or whizzing down the slides. If you don't enjoy organised competitions, you can always just go for a free swim amongst the weeing kids and wrinkly oldies. Make sure you pack water wings for the deep end though. No one wants to see a tubby version of David Hasselhoff jogging towards them in slow motion.
