Time was, long ago, you'd walk into Oxfam and expect the book section to be populated with Mills and Boon novels. These novels of love, romance and thinly veiled metaphors for genitalia, were quite frankly a bit naff, so it's with a happy heart we reveal to you what was the very first Oxfam bookstore in the country. With different sections for kids, adults, education, classics and factual, there's a book for every occasion. Of course if you'd like to lie in the bath and dream of François the manly French pirate, the proudly-surviving romance section will happily tend to your every need.
