Deansgate

Home to the rich and nearly famous, you'll see many a confused student walking the gold paved paths of Deansgate (they heard Armani had a sale on - those student loans aren't going to spend themselves, after all). This is the classy quarter of Manchester and many of the more exclusive brands call this their home. Here you'll find silk ties from Armani, a six-button wool and silk suit from Kendal and many a prospective Patrick Bateman perusing them all (in terms of corporate agenda, rather than murderous habits, we hope). It's also got quite a few classy restaurants so you can show off those new French cufflinks to your yuppie brethren.
