Got a hot date? Wanna take your special someone dancing 'till the wee small hours of the morning? Well then, take your man to Manto (hell's bells, Itchy's on comic form). After a refurb and a reconsideration of their dress code, it's been a long time since Manto was the place where your feet stick to the carpets. It's gone all wipe-clean and slinky, and it is definitely one of the best places to go dancing on Canal Street. With a completely mixed-bag crowd and music range, there really is something for even the fussiest reveller, but leave it 'til after midnight; it's the kind of place to end up in, not start out at.
