There is nothing quite as wonderful as outdoor dining - sitting in the sun eating from a light and delicate Italian menu cooked with fresh, seasonal produce and some excellent wine, made all the better when there are pretty folk serving your lunch. So it really is kind of a shame about the stonking great B-road spewing its foul sputum over your excellent lunch. A Mediterranean village this ain't. Stick to the indoors in autumn, and don't forget that bus fumes in your lunch are never cool.
