Barça

This is an ultra trendy Castlefield mainstay. It's owned by Mick Hucknall, but don't let that put you off, because Barça is actually pretty damn cool. It has to be one of the best places to sit outside in the summer, particularly if you get a balcony table. The young and fashionable set are here in force all year round, and now they've opened a private members club – invitation only – for the local influencers and celebs. They also take their food seriously –with wraps and ciabattas just a small part of a high quality bar food menu. Plus, as an added bonus, I've yet to hear any Simply Red rubbish playing.
