This Victorian boozer has undergone a gentle transformation (fairy lights, Barbie dolls strung from chandeliers, nodding mechanical horses) and the resulting period mash-up is deservedly adored by the Shoreditch glitterati. If you show up in something as ludicrous as a suit you'll be gawped at in horror by trannies in rhinestone-studded cowboy hats. There's nothing but San Miguel on tap, but you're not here for the fine ale; you're here to sip absinthe, dance to Kate Bush and forget to meet your friends on Brick Lane.
