Renoir
The Renoir offers a passage back to the old-school. To a time of no mobile phones (there's no reception underground), a time before Dolby sound had the power to send a spaceship swooping inches above you; a time even before popcorn. The screen is small and the seats are even smaller; the point is the bills of art-house classics and cutting-edge releases, combined with the down-at-heel set up makes you feel louche, edgy and just a little seedy.
