The Barfly
When it comes to live music and a bit of atmosphere Barfly is hard to beat. It's got that grotty, sticky-under-foot and squeezing-past-shit-faced-kids-on-the-stairs glamour. Not only do they regularly pull fantastic acts, but the upstairs room is about twice the size of a Glasto portaloo and fifteen times as packed (depending on who's playing of course), so you do get a mini-festival feel, except your plastic-cupped beer is a bit colder and not as many of the people around you smell of tent sex.
