Scala

As one of the most eclectic clubs in London, live music is on offer regularly here, with past acts including Dido, Chemical Brothers and Foo Fighters. Friday night is 'Popstarz', a hugely popular gay event. Saturday is 'Chalk', a total mixture over four floors. They'll pack in as many punters as possible, so in the same night you may encounter anything from punk to r 'n' b through to drum 'n' bass or grime. The crowd is young, happy and flirty and the vibe is good, but it's not recommended for the hardcore clubber.
