Patatas Bravas R.I.P. This family-run tapas joint shows there's much more to life than undercooked spuds drenched in tomato sauce, serving generous plates of dishes like roasted fennel with sage butter and grilled octopus that's obviously not from the Thames. These folks have put some thought into this, but they've still managed to keep it deliciously simple, and they didn't even need Gordon Ramsay to come in and swear at them. We've got our eye on the newly re-furbed garden area - get ready for hours of global warming style greatness in the summer. And the staff are so nice they'd probably bring us a hanky with knots at the end.
