La Creperie de Hampstead

Just down the hill from Hampstead station, this permanent takeaway stall serves up crepes as good, if not better, than anything you'd get in France. Amazingly, the ingredients for everything from cheese and ham to Belgian chocolate can be stored and cooked in this tiny trailer, and the results are mouthwatering. Eat them on a bench and watch Hampstead's high life. It's hugely popular at weekends, so expect to queue.
