Owl and the Pussycat

Another pub for Shoreditch's jaded types to sulk in. Watch them trying to blend into the furniture as they reminisce about the first time they started reminiscing about Kraftwerk. This is a nice, sensible boozer from its chaotic decor to its no-nonsense bar staff. There's decent pub grub – Sunday roasts are popular – a garden out back and a quiz on Tuesdays. There's no irony, no freaks wearing springs on their heads and no need to book ahead. Simply show up and make yourselves at home.
